and in consideration of the Australian Standards guidelines for Pool Fencing and Gates, Easy Fit has manufactured a dome shaped cap that is fastened to the corner of the hinge post and at the same time fitting on top of the hinge. This seeks to eliminate the hinge cap being used as a toe hold for climbing of young children.

This hinge cap is fitted on top of the bottom hinge of the gate.

In some: states of Australia, the local council engages certifiers to oversee the construction and completion of pool fencing, and it was a suggestion by some that as a manufacturer of pool gate fittings, we seek to make fittings as safe as possible. Hence the wording of this component Certi Cap.
